Pristine beaches in Zambales
The Philippine Islands is a treasure trove of pristine beaches, a lot of which remain untouched from modern tourism. Every time I visit I try to visit a new place and on my last trip my friends and I went to Zambales. It's best reached by car but can also be reached using public transportation. San Antonio is the town where you can stay at inns and bed and breakfast accommodations but the best beaches are reached by boat. You can camp at some of these beaches but keep in mind that facilities are limited. My friends and I stayed at an inn and rented a boat for the day. When you do reach the coves you quickly realize it was well worth your effort. The water is gorgeous as it reflects the greens of the mountains and the blue sky. The coves make for calm waters and nothing compares to having the entire beach to yourselves and relaxing in the waters while you gaze at the scenery.
