Myanmar's Sumptuous Salads
A highlight of the culinary experience in Myanmar are the country's colourful array of salads. Salads, known as thoke, are eaten all day long in the country -- which is no surprise given their diversity. One of the best known salads in Myanmar is lephet thoke (fermented tea leaf salad). Typically the leaves will come with sesame seeds, peanuts, garlic and crunchy dried or fried peas.
