Digital Dream
Now in its 16th year, MUTEK presents five non-stop days of internationally recognized mind and body bending artistry at the leading edge of the worlds of technology, music, digital creativity and live performance. On the first day of this year’s edition of MUTEK, the opening NOCTURE runs a gamut of stunning and performative audiovisual works, putting live drummers in the context of inventive, musically rich electronic music and dazzling spectacle in two different spaces. Artists participating in NOCTURNE include: Caball, Mini & Nelly-Eve Rajotte present Nix, James Holden, Boundary, Ten Walls, Waveshaper, Hugues Clément, Billy Dalessandro & Ombasso present Boomers, and Lvis Mejía. When and Where: May 27, 9 pm to 3 am at the Musée d’art contemporain, 185, Rue Ste- Catherine Ouest (Corner Jeanne-Mance)
