The Museum Boijmans van Beuningen has an impressive permanent collection spanning all eras of European art, including the old masters. Among the highlights are the Three Marys at the Open Sepulchre by Van Eyck and Portrait of Titus and Man in a Red Cap by Rembrandt. There are also several French Impressionists and Renaissance Italian figures represented in the collection. Among the most memorable modern pieces are works by surrealist figures like Marcel Duchamp, René Magritte, Man Ray and Salvador Dalí, who was given his own room in the museum’s latest expansion. There’s also an adjoining café and sculpture garden.
