The beer museum recently opened in the newly renovated Praca do Comercio.
The dining room serves delicious, typical Portuguese food - especially great steaks that go so well with the Portuguese beers and wines.
The museum is on the first floor and reviews the history of Portuguese beers from the first century B.C., to the 16th century, to the 18th century, to the beers of today.
There is also an extensive wine cellar.
The ground floor houses the brewery itself. There is seating inside with modern decor and a wide terrace outside with views of the Tagus River.
The entire experience was wonderful. The food and beverages excellent. The decor beautiful. The staff professional - as you would expect.
Reservations are recommended for lunch and dinner. ( 00351-210987656 )
I will return to this interesting and fun museum. If you stay in Lisbon, put this fun spot on your list.
