Entering the main exhibit area, I was greeted by a large collection of sculptures by Auguste Rodin. I was mesmerized by "The Kiss" and how lifelike the lovers seemed, almost as if I were intruding on a private moment.
Wandering the fine collection of paintings from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, I found works by noted Argentine painters like Benito Quinquela Martin (Without Bread or Work), and Eduardo Sivori (Walking the Maiden).
In addition, the museum had paintings by European artists like Edouard Manet and Camille Pissaro.
The museum was a true pleasure, and a great way to spend the day.
