Discovering the cliffs of Mt. Tamalpais

All we could say for about an hour was WOW! We drove through the curvy roads of Mt. Tamalpais gawking at the beauty. And then we came across Steep Ravine Campground. It is situated literally on the cliffs overlooking the beach and ocean and it is just stunning. The only problem was the wind. It was VERY WINDY! Since we were planning on pitching a tent (and grew worried that it would blow away, even with stakes!), we un-willingly gave up the idea of staying there and continued our drive up to Pantoll Campground. Pantoll is a small, somewhat desolate campground and when we were there, only two other people were staying there. It is located up in the redwood mountains, about 10 minutes away from Stinson Beach.
