Escape from the City at Montreal's Mount Royal Park
“‘The mountain,’ as locals call it, is a haven for nature lovers. It offers an unforgettable panoramic view of the city, the island, and the Saint Lawrence River. In winter, kids play on the tubing and tobogganing runs, while 11 miles of groomed trails are available to explore on cross-country skis or snowshoes,” says Nathalie Bondil, head curator at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
