Go Continental with Superb Spanish-Influenced Brunch in Gastown
Thanks to chef Jefferson Alvarez, Gastown’s tiny speciality dessert and champagne restaurant, Mosquito has branched out into weekend brunch with a very cool selection of Spanish-influenced dishes along with a few more traditional brunch bites. The house-made bread is superb all by itself but elevated to a new kind of wonderful when served topped with sous-vide eggs and luscious salty imported Serrano ham. Definitely check out the brunch cocktails here too, their Mimosa verde made with pistachio syrup, gin, green Chartreuse and bubbles is divine.
