The white cracked-stone facade of Moon Juice stands out against the blue sky like a cloud and pulls you in with intrigue. This pressed-juice-and-nut-milk shop is one of the latest additions to Venice's quickly-developing Rose Avenue. Although small in size, this place packs in the nutrients.
Staff works around the clock—24 hours a day—prepping and hydraulically pressing local fruit, vegetables, leaves, and nuts to give customers the only true 100% organic juice and milk in Los Angeles.
There is a rainbow of pre-bottled options with flavors including Goodness Greens, Beat Aid, Spiced Yam, Cantaloupe Nectarine, and the new Canyon Greens (Rainbow Chard, Collard Greens, Parsley, Celery, Cucumber, and Ginger to give it a bit of a kick). The ingredient combinations are intelligent, and according to owner Amanda Bacon, “are medicinally driven through a chef filter."
Soothing almond milk mixtures are made fresh upon order, with Mint Chip being the crowd favorite (at least four people ordered this in 20 minutes). Bee Pollen and Probiotics are popular superfood supplements, while Aloe Vera and Turmeric shots provide a burst of natural medication for those on both sides of the counter.
With about 300 bottles sold daily, Moon Juice pulls more than just health fanatics into its orbit. From athletes to hungover partygoers, this is a welcoming space for anyone interested in a pure and tasty lifestyle.

Just the Juice in LA
There’s no better proof of LA’s dedication to healthy living than the consistent opening of new juiceries throughout the city. Colorful varieties of cold-pressed juice, cleanses, shots and shakes compete to call out their freshness, local ingredient sources and high nutritional values. Kreation, Pressed and Earthbar (in Equinox Gyms) have multiple locations throughout SoCal and solo shops like Moon Juice in Venice, Punchbowl in Los Feliz and Beverly Hills Juice in Mid-City West have all made their marks.
