November 2011 ::: Meeting Alessandro Martini for the first time at 7.30 in the morning is like having a double espresso, twice in one go. He is as animated and bright as his jacket (in the photos). Only one other guest, an American lady by the name of Nancy (I think) nearly out-talked him on the trip. Alessandro runs the top-rated to-do activity in Bologna, the food capital of the italian world. Alessandro not only runs the best tour in town, but is extremely passionate about good, healthy food and traditional ways of preparing food. As part of the tour, you will be brought to visit a family factory that for over 3 generations has been committed to the production of the famous “Prosciutto di Modena D.O.P.” (known for it's natural sweetness)
