Ghostly Ladies of the Evening
Miss Molly's Hotel is the oldest bed and breakfast in Fort Worth. But it wasn't always a B&B: in the 1940s, the building, located in Fort Worth's stockyard area, was a well-known bordello. The current inn has seven rooms decorated in period detail, and each at one time or another has manifested some supernatural happening. But it is in the Cowboy Room that visitors have seen the full body apparition of a beautiful woman. She's not threatening at all—in fact, quite the opposite. People who have seen the lady have commented that they felt a marvelous feeling of peace upon seeing her and that they felt sorry when she disappeared. Effects that, we feel, may put her down to being one of the former house of ill repute's ladies of the evening—one with a proverbial "heart of gold," no doubt.
