What began as a three table family project in 1941, has turned into a multi-room San Antonio Tex-Mex legend. Mi Terra owned by the Cortez family has become some what of a novelty to those passing through Alamo City. This 24/7 restaurant and bakery never closes its doors. Even when Michael Cortez's grandfather passed away they had to have the local sheriffs guard the door so employees could attend the funeral!
Famous for their generous portions of Tex-Mex comfort foods and their Christmas decorations sported year-round, this place is a must visit for anyone passing through the Alamo City! Ask for the shrimp cocktail martini, which is not on the menu, but the locals know!
