Might've Been Lunch
I met this migrating delicacy on a bike trip through the gastronomic capital of escargot, Burgundy, France. Old service roads turned bicycle paths roll through the gentle hills of Côte d’Or vineyards from Beaune to Mâcon. Stop for lunch in one of the world's most famous wine-producing villages, and you'll find on the menu not only the region's best wines, but also some of its unique culinary offerings--escargot included.
