Every Spring Stuttgart is home to the Slow Food Fair. Hundreds of vendors display products which undergo strict quality testing to be considered as slow food. This requires a production by traditional methods, omitting almost all the additives and also considering the sustainable conservation of the environment. This provides consumers and visitors an exciting adventure into the world of real taste, away from the boring flavors of industrial mass production.
We were able to sample almost all the diversity of regional delicacies, which people have made with your own hands. The majority of the more than five hundred exhibitors are producers and food artisans that will tell you personally about their products. Most of them spoke very good English and genuinely loved talking about their food and how they make it.
