Foodie fun at the market
From April through October, much of Downtown Memphis’ residents—not to mention those who live throughout the region—can be found at the Memphis Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings. Farmers and producers from around the Mid-South region bring their produce, dairy, meat products, flowers, and crafts to sell at the market located in the South Main Historic Arts District. The market, located in the pavilion behind the Amtrak Central Station between Main and Front streets, runs Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., April through October. In addition to local food products, crafts, and drinks for sale, some of the city's best musical acts perform throughout the market.
