M'diq, a small picturesque fishing village and summer beach getaway, located on Morocco's far Northern Mediterranean Coast. Situated between Tetouan and Ceuta, it is a hidden jewel boasting some of the best seafood in the world.
Charming family seafood restaurants dot the pristine beach as well as the active fisherman's harbour. Generations's old family recipes provide mouth-watering seafood dishes from the catch of the day pulled out of the Mediterranean only hours before.
After a lazy afternoon on the beach - I walked about fifty meters to a tiny ocean front restaurant and had the best seafood meal of my life, as you can see in the above photo. Relaxing, with a cold glass of Moroccan white, I stuffed myself and left hours later after paying my $15 tab.
