A Fine Cafe on the Nicest Street in Tel Aviv

A perfect way to start the morning in Tel Aviv: plein-air breakfast on the most charming street in Neve Tzedek. Lulu’s may look like a French bistro, but the spread I ordered (a variety of warm breads with the usual dips of tahini, hummus, creamy lebneh, and olive tapenade) could hardly have been more farm-fresh Israeli. Lulu is said to have solid, Euro-influenced lunch and dinner offerings as well. As I so often found in Israel, the first meal of the day was the best.
