An Oasis in the Panhandle Plains
The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum, brings an oasis of green to the local landscape, with 93 acres of open space situated in K.N. Clapp Park. The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum is home to a variety of plants, trees, animals and birds, and is used as an educational tool to demonstrate which plants can be introduced to and thrive in West Texas and the South Texas Plains. With the St. Paul’s On-The-Plains historical chapel on-site, this makes Lubbock’s Arboretum a coveted place for weddings and other celebrations.
