The Lost Arrow Spire, one of the most exposing and gravity-pulling Tyrolean traverses. When asked if I wanted to ascend it and traverse it, I said: "Why not?!". The next thing I know, I was rappelling down a detached pillar of granite that one day will likely fall for at least a minute without sound before it hits the ground, landed in a notch of rock, climbed by total reliance by repeatedly placing climbing gear on the rock and delicately balancing my way up the spire, to find myself sitting on top, and concluding by doing the infamous Tyrolean traverse, suspending myself upside down, pulling upwards with all my strength, while my legs and feet dangled helplessly. The next day I was in line getting pizza in Yosemite Village, happening to look at a poster from the 1970's of someone traversing the Lost Arrow Spire. I had stated aloud that I was just there the day before doing the same thing, when the person in line next to me said in disbelief: "Was that you up there wearing red pants yesterday?!". It was one of the most invigorating and memorable experiences of my life.
