Long Bay House, named for the wild stretch of beach it fronts, is a beautiful private villa rental, managed by Island Escapes TCI, that is at once private and accessible.
The modern Caribbean colonial mansion, on over two acres of gated property, is just a 5-minute drive from Provo's downtown dining, shopping, and people-watching scene at Grace Bay Beach.
Check out the photos before booking, as you'll either love or hate this property's stark minimal vibe. There isn't much in the way of extra colors, decorative furnishings, or even flowers in the garden, to take the eye away from the view out back of the turquoise sea, which appears through nearly every wood-framed doorway and curved white archways of this 6,300-square-foot home. The two-story entrance foyer, with travertine tile floors, stone-covered walls, and a sweeping grand staircase, makes a dramatic first impression. I also love the upper-level living room. With pocket sliding doors onto a huge balcony overlooking the sea, whitewashed hardwood floors, and soaring cathedral ceilings, not only is its placement clever, but this is the room that felt most comfortable for chilling in the sometimes too Zen home.
Long Beach house has six bedrooms, and all feature ocean views. Four have private balconies, and there is an option to rent the self-contained one-bedroom guest apartment on the grounds as well.
