Delicious, Island-Inspired Food in an Intimate Setting
For a social and unique meal, reserve a spot at Lolo's dinner table. The menu changes daily, according to what's fresh at the market and what chef Lolo is inspired to cook, but you can expect between 5-10 courses of delicious tastes.
Dinner is served on long communal tables, so expect to get to know your neighbors. Most people are there for the same reason: to enjoy good food and good company!
We started with an amuse-bouche of mozzarella sorbet on fresh tomato sauce. Following this was thinly sliced beet carpaccio with a smear of goat cheese. Next, a soup of zucchini purée drizzled with beet purée. Then a gingery mango salad with crispy chicken. The main dish was shrimp and locally-caught flaky white fish with a luscious lobster sauce. Desert was a tasting of caramel strawberries and grapes, delicate biscotti, and chocolate panna cotta, among other fruits and sweets.
Not to be missed!
Lolo also runs a B&B, which I enjoyed staying at for five nights. The rooms are beautifully done with custom tile-work. The treehouse room has a wooden spiral staircase leading up to the bedroom, which really makes you feel like you're up in the canopy!
Lolo is very helpful with arranging activities on the island and has plenty of suggestions of things to do. And, you get her delicious cooking every morning for breakfast!
