Argentina is the land of leather...and the ever controversial fur. No matter where you stand on the latter, there's no denying that La Vaquita offers some of the best of both worlds. Choose from pillows, rugs, and even stuffed animals and soccer balls made of cuero (leather), Nuria (like a cross between a beaver and a woodchuck), conejo (rabbit), and oveja (sheep). The more sophisticated annex of the shop is located just next to the Galeria de la Defensa, while a larger variety of products can be found inside. Take note that the iconic Butterfly chair covers are not replicas, as Knoll relinquished design rights in 1951. In other words, stock up on the classic design at non-Knoll prices.
