On the way to our camel safari pick-up location, we stopped at a Rajasthani village south-west of Jaisalmer. Immediately the village leader and these children came out to see us. We talked and had fun with them. The women in the picture gave us all Indian names so they could remember us. I was Rahul, then there was Meenakshi, Mithi and Akbar!
They showed us their village and explained to me and the woman (we both knew Hindi-Urdu) how they live, eat, go to school and finally play! This small child wanted us all to ride his bike which was way to big for him. This allowed us to really see what life was like for the average villager.
