The V&A and Natural History Museum
You’d be hard-pressed to fit all of Knightsbridge’s Victorian museums into one day, but it is worth knowing that the V&A and Natural History Museum (as well as the Science Museum) are within a short walk of each other in "Albertopolis," so named because of Prince Albert’s influence on the area in the 19th century. Pick one according to your interests, from music or decorative arts to evolution. Though the main galleries are free—which means you can justifiably hop from one to another—it’s worth checking ahead for the blockbuster, ticket-charging exhibitions.
