Wandering through the Keys there are many interesting places to stop. One of these is the Key Largo Chocolates shop.
You can't miss it. It is on the Bayside at MM100 1/2 in Key Largo ( Upper Keys). The whimsical building is painted in flamingo pink and key lime green and the sign above the main door is adorned with the mascot, Lucy the flamingo.
With a passion for chocolate, highly experienced and trained master chocolatier Kristie Thomas and her husband-partner Bob run this delightful sweet shop. Both make your visit a real chocolate experience.
They offer a huge selection of tropical flavors with their handmade truffles, many flavors of ice cream, cake, balls, Key Lime fudge, and "Key Largo" chocolate crocodiles. You can sample the ice cream flavors as you make your decision. The Key Lime ice cream is something you must try!
There are also gift items and t-shirts and a little something for everyone.
Their Junior Chocolatier program invites children to experience the joy of learning to make chocolates with a hands-on experience in the factory kitchen.
I have been at the shop before and return each time I go to the Keys.
