Ka’ana is a small luxury resort situated in the heart of Belize’s cultural area, the Cayo District. Whether you book a regular suite or splurge on one of the posh private villas, Ka’ana’s staff will make you feel like royalty. Elegantly appointed rooms embrace the property’s natural surroundings, making you feel miles way from civilization.
No detail is left out at Ka’ana – from an impressive wine cellar to a modern twist on iconic Belizean dishes – rest assured your time at Ka’ana will be unlike anywhere else.
In addition to the popular tourist sites in Western Belize, Ka’ana has some very customized and concierge tours you won’t find elsewhere – everything from local helicopter tours to an overnight luxury camp at Yaxha National Park in Guatemala.

Drink a Sweet Corn Colada at Ka'ana Belize
Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite drinks in Belize! It may sound a bit strange, but the sweet corn colada is definitely a cocktail to seek out at Cayo District’s Ka’ana Belize Resort.
Sweet corn is grown in various parts of Belize, including Cayo, Toledo and parts of Orange Walk, and Ka’ana does an excellent job at showcasing the diversity of this Belizean culinary staple. Look for sweet corn tacos and even gelato on the menu! My favorite is the Sweet Corn Colada though. Laced with rum, this uniquely Belizean cocktail comes complete with a cinnamon stick.
Even if you are not a guest at Ka’ana, stop by the restaurant for dinner and drinks – you won’t be disappointed!
As a frequent traveler, you have certain comforts you'd like to have when traveling, you don't expect all of them. Ka'ana catered to everything I desired, great food, design, service, amazing cocktails, 1000 thread count sheets. Experiencing the adventures surrounding this resort was in itself a life changing experience, but to come back to this gem made my holiday.
