K West was crawling with musicians and media types during my visit, and it makes sense: the property exudes a very modern, artsy vibe. It's one of the most popular hangouts in West London and it's easily spotted by its neon lights highlighting a modern facade.
K West is most famous for its K Spa, a true retreat in the midst of urban chaos. Following a day of shopping and spending at nearby Westfield, there's no better way to decompress than with a few hours spent in the Wet Spa - home to warm soaking pools, saunas, steam rooms and even a freezing cold snow room. It's quite entertaining and relaxing to go from warm to hot to freezing cold and back again, and I could feel the tension evaporate after just an hour or so.
Spa treatments are available but I didn't have the opportunity to try any. Hotel guests are welcome to use the Wet Spa for an additional 25 pounds per day and that was relaxation enough for me. Just don't forget a swimsuit as the Wet Spa is occupied by both men and women.
