Joël Robuchon's Mansion at MGM Grand is considered "the" restaurant that everyone who's serious about food must try. Dinner there is a serious affair -- the last time I dined there, we didn't finish until almost 2 am. Did we really need three dessert courses? Probably not, but it wouldn't be dinner at Joël Robuchon without them. Bring your camera, as every dish is prettier than the last, starting with the magnificent bread cart that leads into a spectacular menu of creative food works of art. Despite the highly choreographed ten-course meal, the couches and brighter-than-average lighting will make you feel comfortable, like you're in someone's home.
