As we ventured into sleepy Jax after parking in a big free parking lot on a Thursday evening ...we were pleasantly surprised when we heard lively chatter and music around the corner. We saw lights, food trucks, and tons of people eating and drinking the local fare in an abandoned lot in between two high rise brick buildings. The night market highlights local vendors, organic vendors, local breweries, you name it! We wandered through tasting local honey and sampling vegan Korean food from a foodtruck. The.Jaxson Night Market is a new thing the locals are trying out and I really love it. It is rather small and intimate but it is a nice feeling for me growing up in DC, where every event requires paid parking, waiting in line for hours, and a full day of fighting crowds. The night market provides an intimate local taste of Jacksonville.
