While dog sledding is not allowed inside the Park itself, visitors can book in town and head out for a day in the surrounding mountains. After a noisy start, the dogs go silent as they gleefully run down the snowy trail. The route takes you through snow layered pines, across bridges and along steep ravines. You go up and down rolling hills and only to see a brand new mountain landscape over each one. At the end of the tour, the Cold Creek Fire Dogsledding team will warm you up with hot apple cider and home made cookies. Yum.
