Korea is a long way from Greece, so if you’re craving Mediterranean specialties like Greek salad, hummus or spanakopita, head to the foreigner mecca of Itaewon to indulge in the flavors of Santorini.
The restaurant itself is not notable, painted in the typical shades of blue and white like Greek restaurants the world over, but it’s the food that stands out in the sea of Seoul. Flaky spinach pies, chewy pita bread and lemon chicken add to the drool factor, and there’s plenty of olives and feta to go around.
