A spot in the sun: Ile de la Grande Jatte
Since the moment I crossed the bridge from Levallois Perret, it was love at first sight with the Ile de la Grande Jatte.

A couple of centuries ago, this thin strip of land gently lying on the Seine was a painting spot and inspirational subject for various Impressionists! Monet, Sisley and Van Gogh where very familiar with the area and have depicted it from various perspectives.

Now it ha become a popular place for locals; the perfect place for a walk, a run, for reading a book or just to rest from the stress of life and work.
