We stumbled upon this unpretentious cafe after being turned away (no reservation) from a more popular and much revered Magazine St favorite.
The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect.
We started with the shrimp remoulade and the corn and crab bisque. Both flavorful with an ample portion.
The Crawfish Ignatius and the Shrimp Bordelaise were rich, decadent and filling.
The owner chatted up the couple next to us while we people watched and stuffed our happy, touristy faces.
The bread pudding didn't stand a chance after the first bite.
