During the winter in Sequoia National park, closures make it so you can only go so far. At the end of the line (starting at the Three Rivers entrance) was Hume lake. During the winter there is barely anyone that far out. The lake was like glass and it was as quite as anything possibly could be. Sequoia is a must if you are in the region. The views from Morro Rock, Crystal Caves, amazing over looks to stop and eat at and of course the Sequoia trees.
