What makes this building unique is that it’s the oldest wooden structure in all of South China. Originally a prominent community temple, it’s been decommissioned and serves as a museum. It was opened in 964 AD, making it over ten centuries old! The temple is an example of Tang Dynasty architecture, noted for pagodas with square bases.
