You don’t need me to tell you there’s nothing like a Ritz, and the Madrid location offers nothing less than the best.
The building itself is an homage to stunning architecture, but what really makes it come alive are the incredible concierges. Attentive but not overly enthusiastic, capable and somehow omnipresent.
The Goya Restaurant serves a magnificent lunch daily, but note the hours are according to Spanish meal times : 13:30 - 15:30 and dinner between 20:30 to 23:15. Brunch is served on Sundays from 11:30 to 15:30 and is by reservation only.
To make your way into the night, move to the Velázquez bar where exquisite cocktails are
served until 1 am.
