When I travel, I look for cute little places to stay in. I'm not looking for grand hotels with red carpets or velvet ropes. It's not my style—especially not when I am traveling for work. But I do need a comfortable bed, a warm shower, free Wi-Fi, a lot of light, a friendly staff, and a good breakfast. I found it all and more in the Gat Rossio hotel, part of the European GatRooms hotel chain.
I loved the clean design, the simplicity, and the functionality of the space. And of course I loved the great breakfast room, where everyone gathered to sit around long tables, enjoying fruits and pasteis de bata, the famous Portuguese cakes.
