Who says learning can’t be fun? In Hong Kong, that’s what it’s all about. The Hong Kong Space Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui, near the Star Ferry Pier, features a domed-shaped Omnimax theater. The kids will squeal in delight in their reclining chairs as the lights dim and the sky show begins to introduce them to the different constellations. More notably, the Children’s Discover Gallery at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum has a total of eight play zones and interactive galleries for kids ages 4–10. Get to know the Hong Kong Toy Story and learn how local toys were developed, play games to learn how local archaeologists have discovered remnants of Old Hong Kong, and take an imaginary dive into the deep blue see to say hello to underwater creatures.
