Vietnamese villager herding ducks or parting feathers
We were bicycling through a village outside of Hoi An...and passed over a bridge..I couldn't resist river tributaries separating vast fields of green ..but most iconically...was lucky enough to observe a villager standing in his canoe and attempting to maneuver through a flock of ducks. There are many iconic images that come to mind when I envisioned going to Vietnam...the water buffalo, lantern lined streets, street markets boasting the flesh of anything living in the nearby area, fruit and vegetables of all hues of the rainbow, rice paddies in tiered land, women wearing straw conical hats carrying goods on their shoulder poles, and certainly...had to add this one to the list.
