Napa Valley has so much to offer that as a local, sometimes you find hidden gems within your own backyard.
On our way out of the valley and into SF last night we decided to stop by the Oxbow Market in downtown Napa until traffic subsided.
We were not disappointed. The fried oyster po'boy is as delicious as it looks. With fried oysters, pickled cabbage and a bacon vinaigrette all piled high onto a potato bun, what more could you ask for?
Oh yes, a dozen of the freshest raw oysters around and a bottle of Dr. Crusius riesling brings it full circle when you're out with friends.
