Heritage Bicycles General Store is so many things: a coffee shop, a general store, and a place to buy a few key items for your hip closet. Most importantly though, it's a place to grab a cup of joe and watch art being created that you can ride home.
This shop makes me want to cry, because it's too perfect. Imagine this time warp if you will. You approach an establishment which looks like a general store that Wyatt Earp may have frequented in his day. Upon entering, you are greeted by the sounds of jazz from the 1950's wafting through the air. Suddenly, you receive an olfactory assault that is nothing short of immaculate as you inhale the joy that can only be the result of expertly prepared coffee. And as you sit down at the picnic bench–style communal seating, you glance to the rear of the store and see that they craft bicycles—on site, from scratch, by hand! And these are not your average two-wheeled creatures, these are pure works of mobile art. I sat in awe, watching a truly original Heritage bicycle be created on the spot. Oh Michelangelo's contemporaries would have been jealous, I say!
