Make New Friends in Yellowstone
I’m fortunate to live in Sheridan, Wyoming, and I have the opportunity to visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks a few times each year – and no matter how often I visit, I never get tired of scenes like this. Nowhere else I’ve ever been feels as raw, natural or powerful as Yellowstone. The landscape is wild, the animals wilder, and the sense of majesty is palpable. I spied on this pair of American bison while touring the Hayden Valley with Go Ahead Tours – both the Hayden and Lamar valleys offer spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities.

Flash Parker traveled on Go Ahead’s U.S. National Parks tour as part of AFAR’s partnership with the United States Tour Operator Association (USTOA), whose members provide travelers with unparalleled access, insider knowledge, and peace-of-mind to destinations across the globe.
