Long-legged friends
On a shallow wetland near the heritage sites of Champaner, painted storks and pond herons fearlessly tread. After miles and miles of brown, dusty terrain, the birds in the water were a sight for tired eyes. I don't know why I found them, they are migratory birds, hard to come by in the summer. Perhaps some shift in the ecological balance prompted them to fly towards this area.
