Greenwood Great House

Many of Jamaica's finest great houses are within easy reach of Falmouth. A few miles to the west, the hilltop Greenwood Great House was established by the family of poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Visitors come to admire its antiques, musical instruments and book collection and to follow up with a pint in the pub. Closer to Montego Bay, Rose Hall is perhaps Jamaica's most famous Georgian house, with mahogany floors and silk wallpaper that have been restored over the years.
