No-fuss, monster hamburgers are what you’ll find at Greasewood Flat. Their half-pound patties come with the toppings of your dreams…bacon, green chiles, or extra cheese. You know, all the stuff you wish you could eat on the regular. It’s a no-fuss place where cowboys, bikers, locals and tourists come together in the best possible way. The 120-year-old bunkhouse in the northern part of the city is Western casual at its best. On weekend nights, they open “The Tap Shack,” a bar with 14 taps of local beer from cities across Arizona – Electric Brewing Company from Bisbee, Mudshark Brewing from Lake Havasu, even Scottsdale’s own Sonoran Brewing. There’s just something about a Greasewood burger and an ice-cold beer that feels right. Maybe it’s the blanket of Arizona stars above.
