Beach Bonfire
Good Harbor is one of those beaches that look like every other piece of Lake Michigan coast, but has a special feeling that keeps locals coming back. The Leelanau Peninsula is a popular summer destination with tourists, but Good Harbor is nestled down an unmarked dirt road stretching about a mile to the beach, thus making the beach fairly private; a true local spot. Bonfires are allowed on this beach, so pack some dry wood and pick up a bottle of wine from Good Harbor Vineyards for a romantic evening with the Pure Michigan sunset.
