On my recent trip to Honduras for a Global Medical Brigade, I captured this image of an incredibly captivating little girl waiting for her medication. Not only does the image captured the impoverished architecture with the rustic stone step and eroded ground, but the disparity in her eyes penetrates right through the camera lens. I remember her looking sad and hopeless. It amazed me that she, even as a young girl, was aware of the depressed conditions in which she unfairly lives. Reflecting on this image made the eye-opening experience more impressionable and invaluable. My advice: see the world via helping people.
