Glendurgan Garden, Cornwall- The Ideal Place to Lose Oneself
Glendurgan has been described as, "A Little Piece of Heaven," which is truly fitting. This is another of Cornwall's historic gardens and was designed by Quakers.
The sub tropical climate and the sheltered spot on the Helford River is perfect for the exotic plants and carpets of wild flowers covering the three valleys that make this a very special place to visit.
For me a visit is not complete in Glendurgan unless time has been spent getting hopelessly lost in the laurel maze. Created by the Quakers Alfred and Sarah Fox as part of the original garden design this is a treat for children and for adults who are looking to literally get away from it all.
