Glacier 3000

Highest Coaster in the World
Glacier 3000 is a definite highlight in Les Diablerets. Seventy Swiss Francs (77 US Dollars) will get you a return ticket up the massive cable car, which emits the feeling of crashing into the mountain before it veers sharply up over the jutting rock face—everyone freaks out at that point. Husky-drawn sled rides and snow cats take tourists across the glacier face, but for those hardy souls, it is possible to walk in an hour. Once across, you can sit on the edge of the cliff and eat lunch while gazing above the Swiss Alps. Then there is the rollercoaster. This basic little one-seat cart with a hand brake will send you flying close to cliff edges at ridiculously high speeds, and around looping corners. Be warned, it is not for the faint hearted. The coaster is open May until October.
